last week two very different views were clearly visible: one based on fear and segregation, and another based on principle and justices. 

When President Trump repeatedly spoke about issues related to immigration, immigrants, and Muslims, it seemed again that he was using a policy based on intimidation and misrepresentation of certain communities. 

A politics that relies on "making enemies" to gain support is not suitable for leadership that unites a nation.

Special mention is made of immigration issues and tightened regulations; 

those statements that many people saw as hurting the dignity of immigrants and families who came to the United States to seek a peaceful life.

But, Ilhan Omar stood in the middle.

This source did not defend just one person; 

It defended the principle that a powerful country cannot be built on hidden racism or discrimination based on origin and religion. 

She strongly opposes the view of migrants as a "danger", instead of being seen as a force and an economic boost.

When political success is measured by how many people are deported, rather than how many people are saved or integrated, that is where the moral breakdown begins. 

That is why Ilhan refused to remain silent.

The points she came up against were clear:

• Strict policies to restrict refugees.

• General statements depicting Muslim immigrants.

• The view that tightening immigration laws is the only solution to security.

The truth is, security is not built by hurting human dignity, and nationalism is not strengthened by dividing people.

Ilhan Omar said yesterday that the seat of politics is not bigger than a person's principle. 

She was a clear voice against a policy that many see as divisive.

My support is not based on a person, but it is based on the principle it stands for: Justice, Equality, and that the United States should be a country where all people can live together in peace, regardless of origin, religion, or color.

Hassan Sheikh: A leader isolated from reality

The outgoing President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has been described as a failed leader who possesses the characteristics of a dictator, such as being self-conceited and feeling no need for advice from anyone, and creating an environment built on praise, sycophancy, and flattery to display a sense of satisfaction used to achieve specific personal interests and goals.

It has been realized that anyone who speaks to Hassan Sheikh does not tell him what is best for him, but is actually misleading him. This is the path on which Hassan is lost, paved with praise and applause. Words are whispered into his ears such as; "the solution lies in your wisdom, father," "the opposition are poor souls without strength," and "the country has no leader other than you." All these statements are those that can lead the old man astray and plunge him into disrepute.

Since these words have been repeated for a long time, Hassan Sheikh has gradually become isolated from the truth, and then his self-righteousness has burdened him to the extent that his overconfidence has become absolute.

No leader is immune to mistakes, but it depends on how the truth is told to them. Sycophancy and praise inflate the leader's ego, while the truth saves the nation.
