Dr. Ali Askar Ali Shire who was a specialist in diseases of live animals and for a long time was the manager of the project of hand-carrying cattle (Afgoye) of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry of Somalia died last night in the city of Hingalool in the Sanaag Region where he spent the last years of his life.
May Allah have mercy on Dr. Ali Askar, who was one of the few veterinary doctors in Somalia, will be noted for his important role in the treatment of animals in the Somali pastoral community, which are the backbone of the economy of Somalia.
